Sources for the 3ResProj
To start off my research I made a grave mistake by letting myself get discouraged too earlier and easily. As a result I ended up looking at infromation that would have worked well if my topic was slightlty different. I unfortunately convinced myself that I needed to change my topic to one that I could find the most info on. Then when I tryed to google for resources on my second attempt I had far more success finding info that backed my first original idea for my paper which was to analyze wether or not illegall had more of an overall negative or positve effect on our nation's economy. Once I started my rough draft I noticed that my first strong source only provided enough material for my first three pages. After that I had more trouble finding other helpful sources through google.For now I feel confident in my new strategy to find other key terms from my first source and use those terms in efforts to find new information.

I had a similar problem with my sources when I first started looking at my sources everything was going well and it seemed like it would go with what idea i was trying to make in paper but then I found it more difficult to connect them but I chose to stick with my original idea and just find new sources.
ReplyDeleteI think it is good that you took the time to really figure out what you needed to do and to find the correct sources that are going to help you with your research paper. I feel that the advanced search was very helpful to everyone for this paper because it helped us get sources that we know are going to be reliable.
